Due to expansion, we have the following three vacancies: Trainee IT Engineer, IT Engineer - 2nd Line and Senior IT Engineer - 3rd Line. 1. Trainee IT Engineer
The Person
Key words: Proactive, resourceful, quick learner
You will need to be a team player who is supportive and calm under pressure. You should be a problem solver and have a good level of customer service. You will need to be detail focused and capable of following processes to trouble shoot a variety of issues through to conclusion. You will be highly organised and methodical in your approach. Our ideal colleague would be Self-motivated and curious. All our team members are required to be Good Communicators with a Professional Approach. We are working within a competitive market and therefore we are Sales and Results Driven whilst being customer centric.
The Role
A busy well-established business is looking to add another Trainee Engineer to their fold. We are looking for a proactive thinker who is quick to respond to requests and to be supportive of their IT infrastructure. The right person can look forward to a role in a growing business that has personal growth and development of all staff at the heart of its company values. This will be a fast-paced role that will offer an engineer a lot of variety and therefore the opportunity to learn and broaden their skill set.
Main Duties
Uphold the company values and professional standards
Maintain good working relationships with clients and colleagues
Using the ITSM tools in use, assist with managing customer issues and prioritise workload in line with customer service level agreements and company process
Assist with on-site installations on occasion
Maintain internal documentation
Skills & Experience
1 year technical experience in an MSP environment would be ideal
Be customer focused and ideally have experience of working within a team
Some experience (but not essential) in Microsoft 365, In Tune, Azure AD and Windows Server
Basic experience with Windows 10 and MacOS troubleshooting
Basic Network infrastructure (routers, switches, Wi-Fi and VPN)
Excellent, verbal and written communication skills
Confident and effective telephone manner
Ability to prioritise and to solve problems from start through to resolution or escalation.
Ideally, we are looking for somebody that has a very keen interest in IT and Technology and can demonstrate this either via a previous job role or as a hobby. This would be a great opportunity for anybody that is looking for a career in IT with lots of exposure to new technologies and training.

3. Senior IT Engineer – 3rd Line
The Person

You will need to be a good team leader who is supportive and calm under pressure. You should be a problem solver and have excellent communication skills. You will need to be detail focused and capable of following processes to trouble shoot a variety of issues through to conclusion and be able to delegate tasks to your team where necessary. You will be highly organised and methodical in your approach. Our ideal colleague would be a self-starter who is capable of using their own initiative. All our team members are required to be Good Communicators with a Professional Approach. We are working within a competitive market and therefore we are Sales and Results Driven whilst being customer centric.

We are looking for a proactive thinker who is quick to respond to requests, with a wealth of experience within an MSP service provider environment. This will be a fast-paced role that will offer an engineer a lot of variety and therefore the opportunity to learn and broaden their skill set.
Duties

Be a technical lead for IT projects, including design, implementation, and handover
Using the ITSM tools in use, assist with managing customer issues and prioritise workload in line with customer service level agreements and company process
Accept and resolve complex IT support tickets
Review and approve IT change requests
Maintain internal documentation
Assist with on-site installations
4 years technical experience in an MSP environment ideal
Good understanding of the principles of IT service management
Evidence of significant experience and expertise in Microsoft 365, InTune, Azure AD and Windows Server / Active Directory and migrations
Advanced Windows 10 and MacOS troubleshooting
Network infrastructure (routers, switches, Wi-Fi VPN & Radius)
Cloud services Azure, AWS
Track record of successful project implementation and customer satisfaction
Demonstrable understanding of IT security and compliance (e.g., Cyber Essentials) Work Environment and Conditions
Skills & Experience
Be customer focussed and have experience of working within a small team
Significant experience in using the Microsoft 365, InTune, Azure AD and Windows Server and all the above platforms
